Connect Microsoft (Outlook mail)
The Inbox widget can show your Outlook / Microsoft 365 mail on its own, or merged with Gmail into one list if you connect both.
Connect
- Open Settings → Connected accounts.
- Click Connect Outlook and sign in / approve in the Microsoft window.
- Your unread Outlook mail appears in the Inbox widget, each message badged with the Microsoft logo so you can tell accounts apart.
What BGP can do with that access:
- Display your unread Outlook mail.
- Move a message to Deleted Items only when you click the trash button yourself, and it's undoable.
- It cannot send email or change anything else. Mail flows straight between your browser and Microsoft, never through BGP servers.
Disconnect
- Settings → Connected accounts → Sign out (Microsoft row).
- Outlook messages disappear from the Inbox. Gmail (if connected) stays.
- Your Microsoft sign-in token is stored only on your device and is deleted when you sign out.
Troubleshooting
- Sign-in window closes with an error code (AADSTS…): try again. If it repeats, sign out and reconnect.
- Trash fails with "Graph 403": sign out and reconnect. Your sign-in predates the delete permission and needs a quick refresh.
- Outlook rows missing: click the Inbox refresh button, and check the bottom of the widget for a "couldn't load some accounts" note.
