Keep one genome across both extensions
The dashboard extension and BGP DNA Anywhere each keep their own genome, because Chrome keeps each extension's data separate. You can combine them any time with a file. It takes a minute, it never duplicates anything, and both sides end up with the identical genome.
Bring your dashboard genome into Anywhere
- In the dashboard extension, open Settings → Data → Download full backup. A file is saved to your Downloads folder.
- Open the Anywhere popup and click Import backup. Pick that file.
- Anywhere merges the dashboard's probe answers into its own. Your Belief Colorband updates.
Bring your Anywhere genome into the dashboard
- In the Anywhere popup, click Export genome. A backup-shaped file is saved.
- In the dashboard extension, open Settings → Data → Restore from backup… and pick that file.
- The dashboard merges the answers in. Its Belief DNA now includes what you answered while browsing.
You can merge in either direction. Repeating a merge changes nothing the second time.
Good to know
- A merge adds but never removes. Answers you gave on both sides count once.
- The Anywhere export contains only genome data (probe answers and saved brain items), never the dashboard's settings.
- If you use the dashboard on several computers with Full private sync, import your Anywhere genome once on any of them and sync carries it to the rest.
