Install BGP DNA Anywhere (Chrome extension)
BGP DNA Anywhere is the lightweight sibling of the dashboard. Instead of a new-tab page, it adds a small belief-probe strip and your genome view to the websites you choose, and a Save to Brain button on AI chat sites. No dashboard, no widgets, no AI key. You may also see it called "BGP Light" on our website.
Install it
- Open its Chrome Web Store page: coming soon on the Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
- Click the BGP DNA Anywhere icon in your toolbar (pin it from the puzzle-piece menu so it's always visible).
- On a site where you'd like the probe strip, click Show BGP here. Chrome asks permission for that one site only. Allow it, and the strip appears at the bottom of the page.
That's the whole setup. Add more sites the same way, one at a time.
Good to know
- It only runs where you say. Nothing is injected anywhere until you add that site, and each site asks for its own permission, never "all sites."
- Local-first. Your answers and genome live only in this browser. The extension collects nothing and sends nothing.
- It has its own genome. If you also use the dashboard extension, you can merge the two with a file. See Keep one genome across both extensions.
- Do you need it if you have the dashboard? No. It's for answering probes while you browse, or for people who want BGP without a new-tab page.
Troubleshooting
I added a site but see no strip.
- Reload that page once. Chrome only injects on pages loaded after you allow the site.
- Check the master switch in the popup is on.
The strip says "BGP was updated — reload this page."
- That's expected after the extension updates. Reload the page and carry on.
