AI Agents on the Mac
The AI Agents page lets the Mac app handle jobs with several steps: AI calls, email, web fetches and file actions that finish a whole job. This is the biggest difference between the Mac app and the extension, which has no agents.
How it's laid out
- Gallery: your saved agents on top, a template library below. Templates include things like a daily unread digest, a spam cleanup, a morning schedule briefing, PDF and YouTube transcription, and a weekly project report.
- Builder: opens when you click an agent and shows its steps, triggers, schedule and run history.
Run one
- Pick a template and click to clone it into My Agents (or start from scratch).
- Open it and adjust the steps if you like. Each step has a box showing what goes in and what comes out.
- Click Run. Results appear in the run history, and any files it produces land in the Media Library.
- Optional: give it a schedule ("Daily 8 AM") or a trigger ("On new email"). An ACTIVE pill shows it's on.
Ready-made agents
Some agents ship ready to run: Transcribe Audio File, Transcribe PDF, Transcribe YouTube, Text → MP3, Gmail Spam Hunter. Find them in the gallery.
Good to know
- Agents use the AI keys you add in Settings and call those providers directly from your Mac. Email steps need Google connected. See Integrations on the Mac.
- Nothing runs on its own until you switch a schedule or trigger on.
- Run history is kept on your Mac. Delete a run to remove its data.
